The Agenda of this assessment consists of 3 phases as below:
Agenda
Phase 1: Overview.
- Project objectives and gather basic information regarding databases name,size, jobs, datatypes, recovery model, SQL accounts, linked servers, etc.
- Evaluate the best fit out of Azure SQLaaS uses are Azure SQL Virtual Machine, Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed Instance for the business requirements.
Phase 2: Analyzing the environment
- Perform an assessment using a Microsoft tools to analyze the compatibility of the current environment with Azure.
- Identify the data that can be easily migrated to Azure and provide recommendations on identified issues.
Phase 3: Planning and Costing.
- Our solution architects will prepare the Best Plan for proper transformation and migration.
- Calculate the estimated cost for the project.
- Provide a document with all the final relevant information regarding plan and cost.
Deliverables:
- A report consisting of recommended solutions for the issues found
- Plan of action
- System Architecture Visio
- Billing Report as per estimated cost.
